First Visit to the Dentist
Clínica Dental Champsaur recommends that your child start with the Pediatric Dentistry Service in Panama by the time they reach one year old. Let your child’s first tooth remind you that it’s time for them to visit your dentist.

At this time, we will “count your child’s teeth.” After a comprehensive examination, we will discuss our dental findings with you. Dental x-rays or “pictures,” if necessary are also taken to ensure a thorough examination followed by oral hygiene instruction to emphasize proper oral health care.
All aspects of a preventive dental health program including diet, hygiene and fluoride will also be discussed. It is always better to make a first dental appointment before your child has a dental problem. By establishing a dental home for your children, they are more likely to receive appropriate preventive and routine oral health care as they grow from infants through their teenage years. Pediatric Dentistry Service in Panama – How are Appointments Scheduled?
The office attempts to schedule appointments at your convenience and when time is available. Preschool children should be seen in the morning because they are fresher and we can work more slowly with the child for their comfort. School children with a lot of work to be done should be seen in the morning for the same reason. Dental appointments are an excused absence. Missing school can be kept to a minimum when regular dental care is continued.
